Welcome to Augusta, Georgia! The Garden City, Soul City, The CSRA, The Augusta River Region; whatever you want to call it, I hope you enjoy your time here in our friendly community. If you are new to the CSRA (Central Savannah River Area) or are moving within the region, I hope you visit the renaissance on Broad Street, thanks to the passion and investment of many business owners and real estate developers.
Augusta is, in many ways, like any other city in the United States. The things we want, the things we look for, the things that feel familiar to us – they are all available. The Greater Augusta Area is as franchised and chained as any city of its size and stature. Fret not. But also like most cities, there are certain things only available here and only available to those in know. Here’s a short list of some of the Augusta-centric treats available locally. Enjoy.
Eating with your little ones can be a challenge at times. They can be picky, loud, irritated, irritating and down-right difficult. Taking them to a special place where they can be engaged is helpful when you have the time and inclination. Here are a few local places that my sons like, I hope your kids do, too.
